The company was established in 1925 by the pioneer Anastassios Bassis. Later, it was passed on to his son Konstantine, who expanded the operation and established a model winery in the area of Avlona, Attica. This model winery fully utilizes the concept of gravity in wine making.
Today, it is up to Bordeaux-maker Tassos Bassis, chemist-enologist, to continue the viniculture tradition of the renown wine maker family, who is determined to outmatch his father and grandfather by introducing the estate’ s first bottled brand wines.
