The company “Paschalidis, Handicraft of smoking and salted products” products smoked fish and salted fish since 1955. It started operating as a personal business, and now the third generation continues the action of production – processing – packaging and distribution of smoke and salted fish. The central office of business is located at 7th km Komotini-Iasmos of Rodopi, while maintaining a branch in the center of the city of Komotini and in Thessaloniki.
Since 1986 the company has been working in privately owned facilities of 7300 acres. In 1998 has been expanded and modernized with production and storage facilities of 1800 m², approved in accordance with EU directives. In the process of production of goods kept tight control of the receipt of raw materials, storage, processing, packaging and disposal. At the same time takes place a systematic microbiological and chemical analysis, not only in raw materials but also in finished products in order to provide products completely safe to the consumer.
The extensive expertise and experience in manufacturing gives us the ability to combine technology with the tradition in the best possible way in order to provide benefit to the consumer. We never use preservatives in the manufacturing process. The industry applies Food Management System in production, packaging and distribution of smoked and salted fish. It has been evaluated by the certification organisation Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance Limited and is certified in accordance with the requirements of Standard BS EN 22000:2005.
