90 years ago in Smyrni in Asia Minor, Abraham Papadopoulos began to learn the art of production of “halva”, which he brought to northern Greece, where he settled  permanently, at the years, known as migration ones. In 1954 his son Apostolos Papadopoulos took over the business  and makes a production facility and retail sale spot in a beautiful village of Drama, which name is Kyrgia. It is useful to mention that the company’s status is totally connected to our family. In 1984 the management was passed as heritage to his sons Abraham and Peter, who bring really great changes to the company, using their knowledge.

After twenty years of experience and after hard trying to achive gaining the trust of the consumers, in order to make the company profitable and to increase the productivity of its products, while remaining stable on their traditional way, they decided to create an even more modern producing unit, which has opened in January 2010.
