TÜV HELLAS recertified the dairy industry DODONI

DODONI dairy industry was recertified by TÜV HELLAS (TÜV NORD), within the framework of the two companies’ long-term cooperation.

Specifically, TÜV HELLAS inspected DODONI’s facilities in Ioannina and Thebes, proceeding with its re-certification in a number of critical areas. Thus, DODONI was recertified based on the IFS and BRC & FSMA technical protocols for its facilities in Ioannina and Thebes, based on the COSTCO protocol as well as based on the ISO 22000:2018 Standard regarding the Food Safety Management System. In addition, the company was recertified for its Quality Management System based on the ISO 9001:2015 standard.

“Passport” for the sale of its products

All of the above certifications guarantee that DODONI strictly adheres to all procedures related to food safety at all stages of production while at the same time taking care of the quality of the products as well as the safety of its staff.

According to a relevant announcement, the re-certification based on these specialized standards is a “passport” for the distribution of its products in the leading supermarket chains abroad, including COSTCO USA. It is noted that DODONI’s collaboration with TÜV HELLAS (TÜV NORD) began in 2008 and continues steadily until today, while the continuous certifications and re-certifications confirm the dairy industry’s trust in the Agency.

DODONI was founded in Ioannina over half a century ago. At that time it was a small fresh milk pasteurization unit, which exclusively served the needs of the residents of the city of Ioannina, collecting cow’s milk from small farms in the area.

Today, DODONI has modern factory units in Ioannina, Cyprus and Thebes and a perspective that exceeds 450 people. With 100% Greek milk and the purest raw materials as the main ingredient, DODONI has been creating authentic dairy products for 57 years, such as the famous feta cheese, yogurts, yellow cheeses and many others that stand out for their rich taste.
