Greek consumers operate with regular “smart” shopping

More and more consumers are engaging in smart shopping in order to reduce the cost of shopping in grocery stores.

As recent market data show, a percentage of consumers do not hesitate to make “discounts” even on the quality of products, as price is a key criterion for selection. At the same time, a percentage of more than 50% look for 1+1 gift products and make purchases when they spot discounts and offers after researching in the shops. In addition, it has become common practice to replace branded codes with private label codes, to compare prices online and to use loyalty cards in supermarkets.
